Today is the 12hr Melbourne Spoken Word Festival closing streamathon and am delighted my poetry short movie, Padlock, took 6th place from a tsunami of incredible 3 minute poetry film submissions (Tied with my friend and poetry genius Scott-Patrick Mitchell). Most proud mumma moment as my sixteen year old son Kayin Van Nelson, directed, filmed, edited, and composed the music for this piece, putting the spotlight on domestic violence.
